1.    Project Road

The project road is located in central region of Nepal. The project road starts at outskirts of Narayanghat Town and ends at Mugling Town of Chitwan District. The total length of project road is 33.253 km which has been divided into three Contract Packages namely ICB-1 (10.45 Km), ICB-2 (10.69 Km) and ICB-3 (12.113 Km).

The project road is being constructed under Nepal India Regional Trade and Transport Project (NIRTTP) scheme of the Government of Nepal.

Narayanghat - Mugling Road is part of Asian Highway connecting Kathmandu to Indian boarder and is a major trade route. The whole road alignment is following the left bank of the Trishuli River. The road gradually ascends from Narayanghat (Chainage 0+000. elev. 200m) to Ramnagar (Chainage 5+500, elev. 250m) along Northern face of the hilly terrain. From Ramnagar the road runs along Trishuli River and the alignment ascends towards Mugling (Chainage 35+677, Elev. 285 m.).
